Preparing a Successful Oral (O) Focus Course Proposal
Tuesday, February 11, 2025
2:00 pm – 3:15 pm
Online
Proficiency in oral communication is essential for the success of our students before and after graduation. You can formally contribute to our student’s training and experience in oral communication by designating your 300 or 400 level course as an oral (O) focus course. Our panel, consisting of the Gen Ed Oral Focus Board, will explain the O focus designation and its benefits to students and instructors. We will also review the application used to request an O focus course designation and provide tips for ensuring that your application will move smoothly through the review process. The panel will be available at this session to provide feedback on any specific O focus course proposal that you may be considering.
