Alexander Malik Khaddouma

Alexander Khaddouma is a specialist faculty member at the Counseling and Student Development Center (CSDC) at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. He is a licensed clinical psychologist and a board-certified specialist in couple and family psychology. He currently serves as the Coordinator of Clinical Services at the CSDC, where he primarily provides mental health services to university students, supervision to pre-licensure mental healthcare trainees, and administrative and consultative services to university programs and departments. He received his PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Tennessee–Knoxville and his specialist board-certification in Couple and Family Psychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology. He currently serves on the American Board of Couple and Family Psychology and is active within several professional organizations, including the American Psychological Association (APA), Hawaiʻi Psychological Association (HPA), American Arab, Middle Eastern, and North African Psychological Association (AMENA-Psy), and the Association for the Coordination of Counseling Center Clinical Services (ACCCCS). His research activities have focused on factors that promote healthy romantic relationships, methods for improving relationship-based interventions, and factors that contribute to the mental health and well-being of university students.
