Welcome to Your Campus Sensory Room

A Hands-On Workshop for Faculty, Administrators, and Academic Staff

Wednesday, January 28, 2026
12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
Kuykendall 106 Events Room

Sensory rooms offer a safe, calming space to manage stress, reduce overstimulation, and support self-regulation. The benefits of spaces like these are increasing in popularity amongst schools, hospitals, and community centers.

Join us to learn more about UH Mānoa’s sensory room in the OFDAS-CTE office! This hands-on workshop invites faculty, staff, and administrators to experience the equipment firsthand, discover the science of sensory integration, and see how these spaces can enhance focus and well-being for everyone on campus.
