Tips & Guidelines for Preparing Conference Posters

This workshop is designed to assist faculty and graduate students in preparing a conference poster or display.
The workshop will discuss:
- Various computer software paring conference posters
- Helpful hints on how to layout conference poster
- Considerations for the production of the final product
- Sample conference posters
- Physical poster parameters
- Composing and editing content
- Typography, including Hawaiian
- Use of color
- Photographs, illustrations, charts and graphs
- UH/UHM logos and trademarks
