Tips & Guidelines for Preparing Conference Posters

This workshop is designed to assist faculty and graduate students in preparing a conference poster or display.

The workshop will discuss:

• Various computer software paring conference posters
• Helpful hints on how to layout conference poster
• Considerations for the production of the final product
• Sample conference posters
• Physical poster parameters
• Composing and editing content
• Typography, including Hawaiian
• Use of color
• Photographs, illustrations, charts and graphs
• UH/UHM logos and trademarks
