This introductory session will answer these questions and more, showcasing major adoptions and innovative OER publishing happening at UHM and across the UH system. Come find out why so many courses are switching to OER, and how faculty and instructors can get support adopting and customizing OER for their courses.

The textbook is dead. Long live the textbook! This workshop will highlight ways OER textbooks made in Pressbooks software are being designed to facilitate learner engagement beyond a flat, traditional book. This workshop will focus on Pressbooks and H5P as software tools to support engaging OER at UH.
