Reaching Out & Settling In: Mānoa New Faculty Brown Bag
Wednesday, February 5, 2025
12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
Kuykendall 106 Events Room
Mānoa Faculty Brown Bag provides a space for interaction among faculty in the early stages of their professional career at UHM. Brown bag meetings bring together faculty in informal conversations with diverse themes and topics as generated by faculty. During these meetings, faculty can share ideas and experiences, and learn from each other as we settle in.
The Spring 25 meeting will focus on service opportunities and considerations for new faculty.
Caleb Reichhardt, Department of Human Nutrition, Food and Animal Sciences, Miyoko Pettit-
Toledo, William S. Richardson School of Law, and Malia Van Heukelem, Hamilton Library, will
share their experiences of service on campus and beyond.
We encourage you to invite your friends and colleagues.
Bring your lunch and join the conversation. Beverages are provided.
This event is sponsored by the OFDAS Faculty Mentoring Program (FMP).
We strive to host inclusive and accessible presentations. Some events are in person, others online. For online, live captioning will be provided. To request additional accommodations, please email us before the event. Mahalo!
