Act III: Faculty in Transition
Tuesday, October 10, 2023
12:00 pm – 1:15 pm
Kuykendall 106 Events Room
The life cycles of faculty in academe are marked by institutional landmarks from assistant to associate level, and for many to full rank and emeriti/emeritae. The contributions of faculty specific to the academy transitions eventually to contributions that expand outside and beyond it.
Panel members in this “Act III” event will talk story about their individual pathways. How have our senior colleagues made their individual transitions from within the academy into other domains? What kinds of outcomes are realized? Everyone is welcome to this lively discussion, with special interest for those leaning towards retirement in the future.
Please bring lunch and join us for beverages and desserts.
