New Faculty Orientation
Each year the University honors members of the faculty and staff who have demonstrated excellence in their teaching, research and community service. OFDAS coordinates the selection of Board of Regents, Chancellor Citation, and Clopton awardees and has pioneered the development of a quantitative screening and qualitative peer review procedure.

eCAFE [electronic course & faculty evaluation]
eCAFE is a campus-wide evaluation option for understanding how courses and instructions are perceived on the Mānoa campus, for assisting faculty gathering evidence of course and student satisfaction, and for eliciting student suggestions on developing a better course.
The Center for Teaching Excellence focuses on creating successful teaching and learning environments, while the Faculty Mentoring Program's focus is on professional development related to successful renewal, promotion and tenure processes for UH-Manoa faculty. The Center for Instructional Support provides support for instruction through technology and technology-related resources.

Mid-semester evaluation Service
Diagnostic Instructional Feedback Service is offered by the Center for Teaching Excellence and include small group instructional diagnosis, classroom observation, and pencil and paper. These services reexamine & revitalize teaching strategies.
